When handling a family law case, Darin Gardner and Lisa Coplan-Gardner approach their cases with meticulous detail to understand the facts and identify the issues to be resolved in each case. They both pride themselves on being well organized and have a thorough knowledge of the facts and laws applicable to all the issues of each case, so that they can increase their success in either settlement or court proceedings.
If your case must proceed to Court, then Darin Gardner, who is our skilled litigator is the one you want to represent you. Darin spent the first seven years of his legal career as an Assistant State Attorney for the Fourth Judicial Circuit of Florida. He has successfully prosecuted a wide variety of crimes from Driving Under the Influence to First-Degree Murder. The investigative skills, courtroom and jury trial experience he gained at the State Attorney’s Office provides him with the effective skills necessary to effectively represent our clients whether in criminal law or family law matters. When you proceed to trial, the evidence and testimony you present is the key to achieving the goals set in your case. Darin prides himself of having the skill of preparing and presenting both evidence and testimony before the Court. The more prepared you are in Court, the greater the chance of success.
We use a team approach to our client’s cases. We find that using our combined creative legal minds is helpful when approached with a unique legal issue.
We help you move on with your life, bringing diverse perspectives and creativity to every case to seek out and obtain the best possible outcome.
Because each family law matter is different, we tailor our approach to each case toward the needs of our clients. We also understand that family law matters can be very costly. This is why we use a cost-benefit approach in each case to determine whether the cost of a matter such as sending out a subpoena, hiring an expert witness or conducting a deposition will benefit our client’s case in settlement or trial.
It’s important to us to only spend money where it will best be utilized. This is typically in gaining the evidence necessary to achieve success in your case should it require you to go through settlement or trial. We believe educating our clients in the applicable laws on their case not only empowers them but increases our chance of success in each case. We live by the old saying, “Knowledge is Power.” An educated client is a powerful client. This is why we provide legal material to our clients that help them understand the issues involved in their case as we sit down with them and have a discussion about their understanding of the law.
To achieve success and reduce litigation costs, we take the position of first trying to resolve your matter prior to proceeding to a hearing and/or trial. However, if we feel that there is a low probability of a resolution, then we just move forward with Court proceedings.
We know that there are many Attorneys practicing in our line of work and that there is quite a variety to choose from. With all the TV commercials, advertisements and radio ads, it is difficult to know who to trust and what attorney is the most qualified for your case.
We do not advertise by the way of TV Ads or Radio, we mostly rely on referrals from past clients and other attorneys. It is because we mostly rely on referrals for new business that we have been able to demonstrate the value that we place on our representation of our clients and the work that we do. We never forget that we work for you and your matter is the utmost importance to us.
We understand that providing legal representation is only a part of representing clients in legal matters and that you have to emotionally guide them as well. We recommend counselors if necessary, but most of our clients just want to talk to us. Because of this, we take the time to be good listeners and provide good advice when needed. It has been said that going through a divorce is like dealing with a death of a family member. We always remember this very serious and emotional time in our clients lives and we strive to always be there for our clients through the entire process.
Please feel free to read about us from our client’s perspective.
