A Jacksonville native, Courtney began her legal career as a legal secretary with Fernandez Trial Lawyers in 2002, where she gained extensive hands-on experience working in the legal field. Throughout her time with the firm, she worked closely with attorneys and clients assisting with case management, client communication, litigation support, document preparation, and the day-to-day demands of a busy trial practice. Her years of experience gave her a strong understanding of both the legal process and the importance of providing clients with compassion, communication, and exceptional service during some of the most difficult times in their lives.
Courtney’s professional experience also extends well beyond the legal field. With an adventurous spirit and a willingness to take on new challenges, she trained to become a pilot at Sterling Flight Training, an experience that further strengthened her discipline, attention to detail, and ability to perform in demanding environments.
Courtney has also dedicated much of her life to serving families throughout the Jacksonville community. She founded Angels of Fashion, a pediatric cancer foundation focused on raising funds and providing support for families with children battling cancer. She later founded 904BadAssMoms, a community created to empower and support women facing challenging circumstances. Through these efforts, Courtney has had the privilege of working alongside numerous local families and supporting Wolfson Children’s Hospital.
No matter the title or role she has held throughout her career, Courtney has always been drawn to helping people. She brings a unique combination of legal experience, leadership, compassion, and real-world perspective to everything she does.
Of all her professional accomplishments, community involvement, and adventures along the way, Courtney considers her greatest accomplishment to be her three beautiful children.
